I turned 1 year old on 9/10! My dad took me to the pet store and bought me giant chewy bones...yum!

My friend Katie sent me a card and squeaky toy recently. That was so nice! The card had a doggie in a grass hula skirt that said Happy Hulaweenie... funny!! Here's a picture.




Oh, I also have a sassy new friend named Faythe! She looks like me and we had so much fun playing together. I can't wait to see her again soon.

Birthday #1

Today is my birthday!! It's my first one and I'm getting spoiled pretty good.

First, we went for a ride and then ended up at the pet store where I got some new GIANT Dingo chew bones. Maybe I wasn't on my best behavior there, but hey... I am only one!! Did you know that riding in the truck and visiting the pet store are two of my favorite things?

After I took a good nap (pictured below), I spent time chewing on my new bone. Yummy! Then I took a walk in the park. Really, I mostly ran. What a good time I had getting chased...

It's past my bedtime now. Bark if you like to stay up late! Arf!!

So I'm gonna chew my bones little more now. Just until my peeps are ready to give me birthday snuggles before we head to bed.

Lots of fun in the sun!

That is a picture of me on the boat this week after a quick dip in the lake. It was such a nice day, I couldn't resist taking a nap during the fishing fun.

You should know I have been having the best summer! Every day I play with my human dad in the yard or we hang in the house if it's super hot outside. He's been taking me on road trips all over, even to the hardware store! We have been best buds. I'm going to miss him when he heads back to teach school next week. :( That's okay, my human momma is going to take me with her to the office again. I'm excited because I heard there is a new puppy, plus I've missed all of my other furry friends.

Yawn. Boy am I tired after running all around the park today... There were so many critters to chase and things to explore!

Well, it's off to bed for me. Night all!

Summertime.

Hank on Vacation

I'm the kind of pup that loves to be outdoors. So when my peeps took me camping and fishing... I was in heaven! The ride to the lake was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Once we arrived, there were so many sticks to chew and so little time so I got right to work. I even tried swimming for the first time and it was fun! When it came to the fishing part, I fell asleep. :) Speaking of sleep... YAWN... I'm tuckered out now. Night!
